Gooseberry Point terminal.
We would like to thank Lummi Commercial Company for their gracious offer to
allow lsland residents to utilize this area for dry dock.

2019 Whatcom Chief Dry Dock Passenger Only Schedule

We anticipate the first departure with the contracted passenger-only ferry to be approximately 4:00 p.m. from Lummi Island on Saturday, September 7, 2019.

2019 Whatcom County Ferry Annual Dry Dock Activities

The Whatcom Chief shall depart for dry dock midmorning on Saturday, September 7, 2019. The Whatcom Chief is due to return to its regular schedule midday on Tuesday, September 24, 2019.

06/24/19 3rd Qtr Punch Card Sales at the Lummi Island Ferry

The next three Lummi Island punch card sales dates are:
July 3, 2019
August 7, 2019
September 4, 2019
Punch card sales will be 12 pm to 3:15 pm at the Lummi Island ferry office.

06/13/19 Whatcom Chief Summer Fuel Truck Schedule Change

To maximize service, we will be limiting propane and fuel deliveries during the months of July and August. During these months, we will welcome propane and fuel trucks on Thursdays only. This change is in effect July 8, 2019 thru Sept 2, 2019.

04/30/19 Revised Long Overhang Notice for the Lummi Island Ferry

If you are transporting a trailer or driving a vehicle with a long overhang past the rear axles, we strongly suggest you travel aboard the Whatcom County ferry at a tide no lower than 4 feet.
