These legal descriptions were adopted in April 2009. The entries to the right of some precincts describe the reason for the change.

Three (3) precincts have been adjusted by annexation January 2010: 201, 208, 209

The election precincts for the City of Bellingham shall be designated as follows:

Precinct 201 (Language update) (annexation 2010)

Beginning at the intersection of the city limits of Bellingham City and Interstate 5; then southerly along the centerline of Interstate 5 to its intersection with the centerline of West Bakerview Road; then east along said centerline to its intersection with the centerline of Meridian Street; then north along said centerline to the city limits of Bellingham City; then along said city limits to the point of beginning.

Precinct 202

Beginning at the intersection of the centerlines of West Bakerview Road and Interstate 5; then southeasterly along the centerline of Interstate 5 to its intersection with the centerline of Meridian Street; then north along said centerline to its intersection with the centerline of West Bakerview Road; then west along said centerline to the point of beginning.
