These legal descriptions were adopted in April 2009. The entries to the right of some precincts describe the reason for the change. BLAINE Precinct 301 (Blaine City ward change) All of the area within the existing city limits of Blaine lying east of the Interstate 5 right-of-way and North of centerline of “H” Street and H Street Road. Precinct 302 (Blaine City ward change) All of the area within existing city limits of Blaine lying west of the Interstate 5 right-of-way and south of the centerline of “H” Street and east of the shoreline of Semiahmoo Bay and Drayton Harbor. Precinct 303 (Blaine City ward change) All of the area within the existing city limits of Blaine west of the shoreline of Drayton Harbor and south of the shoreline of Semiahmoo Bay including all that territory lying south of the north end line of Semiahmoo Spit. EVERSON All of the area within the existing city limits of Everson City. FERNDALE Precinct 501 (Ferndale City annexations and language correction) Beginning at the intersection of the centerlines of Thornton Street and Vista Drive; then north along the centerline of Vista Drive to the city limits of Ferndale City; then westerly and southerly along said city limits to its intersection with the centerline of Thornton Street; then east along said centerline to the point of beginning. Precinct 502 (Ferndale City annexations and language correction) Beginning at the intersection of the centerlines of Vista Drive and Malloy Avenue; then north along the centerline of Malloy Avenue to its intersection with the centerline of Thornton Street; then west along said centerline to its intersection with the centerline of Vista Drive; then northwest along said centerline to its intersection with the northern city limits of Ferndale City; then following easterly, northerly, easterly and southerly along said city limits to its intersection with the centerline of the extension of Washington Street and it’s extension; then west along said centerline to its intersection with the centerline of Vista Drive; then northwest along said centerline to the point of beginning. Precinct 503 (Ferndale City annexations and language correction) Beginning at the intersection of the centerlines of Seamount Drive and Vista Drive; then north along the centerline of Vista Drive to its intersection with the centerline of Thornton Street; then west along said centerline to the westerly Ferndale City Limits; then southerly along said city limits to its intersection with the centerline of Lakeridge Drive; then easterly and southerly along said centerline and it’s extension to the centerline of the west projection of Seamount Drive; then east along Seamount Drive to the point of beginning. Precinct 504 (Ferndale City annexations and language correction) Beginning at the intersection of the centerlines of Thornton Street and Malloy Avenue; then south along the centerline of Malloy Avenue to the centerline of Vista Drive; then south along said centerline to the centerline of Washington Street; then southwest along said centerline to the centerline of Main Street; then west along said centerline and the centerline of Mt. View Road to its intersection with the west city limits of Ferndale City; then following the city limits northerly and easterly to its intersection with the extension of the centerline of Lakeridge Drive; then easterly and southerly along said centerline and it’s extension to the centerline of the west projection of Seamount Drive; then east along Seamount Drive to the centerline of Vista Drive; then northwest to the intersection of Thornton Street; then east to the point of beginning. Precinct 505 (Ferndale City annexations and language correction) Beginning at the north intersection of the centerlines Washington Street and Vista Drive; then south along the centerline of Vista Drive to it’s intersection with the south intersection of the centerlines of Washington Street and Vista Drive; then east along the centerline of Washington Street and it’s extension to the easterly city limits of Ferndale City; then southerly, westerly and northerly along the city limits to the centerline of Main Street; then east along the centerline of Main Street to it’s intersection with the centerline of Washington Street; then northeast along the centerline of Washington Street to the point of beginning. LYNDEN Precinct 601 (Lynden City annexations) Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of the Guide Meridian and the south city limits of Lynden City; then westerly, northerly and easterly along said city limits to it’s intersection with the centerline of Guide Meridian; then south along said centerline to the point of beginning. Precinct 602 (Lynden City annexations) Beginning at the centerline of Guide Meridian and the north city limits of Lynden City; then easterly, northerly and easterly along said city limits to it’s intersection with the centerline of Depot Road; then south along said centerline to it’s intersection with the centerline of Main Street; then west along said centerline to it’s intersection with the meander line of Fishtrap Creek; then southwesterly along said meander line to it’s intersection with the centerline of the west extension and centerline of Liberty Street; then west along said centerline to it’s intersection with the centerline of Guide Meridian; then north along said centerline to the point of beginning. Precinct 603 (Language update) Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Depot Road and the north city limits of Lynden City; then easterly along said city limits to it’s intersection with the centerline of Bender Road; then south along said centerline to its intersection with the centerline of Garden Drive; then east and south along said centerline to it’s intersection with the centerline of E. Grover Street; then east on said centerline to it’s intersection with the centerline of Vinup Road; then south along said centerline and its extension to it’s intersection with the south city limits of Lynden City; then southwesterly along said city limits to it’s intersection with the centerline of Hannegan Road; then north along said centerline to it’s intersection with the centerline of 1st Street; then along said centerline to it’s intersection with the centerline of Main Street; then west along said centerline to it’s intersection with the centerline of Depot Road; then north along said centerline to the point of beginning. Precinct 604 (Lynden City annexations) Beginning at the intersection of the centerlines of Bender Road and the northern city limits of Lynden City; then east, south and west following said city limits to it’s intersection with the centerline of the south extension of Vinup Road; then north along the centerline of Vinup Road and it’s extension to it’s intersection with the centerline of E. Grover Street; then southwest along the centerline of E. Grover Street to it’s intersection with the centerline of Garden Drive; then north and westerly along said centerline to it’s intersection with the centerline of Bender Road; then north along said centerline to the point of beginning. Precinct 605 (Language update) Beginning at the intersection of the centerlines of Guide Meridian and the west extension of Liberty Street; then east along said centerline of Liberty Street and it’s extension to it’s intersection with the meander line of Fishtrap Creek; then easterly along the meander line of Fishtrap Creek to it’s intersection with the centerline of Main Street; then east along said centerline to it’s intersection with the centerline of 1st Street; then south along said centerline to it’s intersection with the southern city limits of Lynden City; then westerly following the southern city limits to it’s intersection with the centerline of Guide Meridian; then north along said centerline to the point of beginning. NOOKSACK Precinct 701 (Language update) All of the area within the existing city limits of Nooksack City. SUMAS Precinct 801 (Language update) All of the area within the existing city limits of Sumas City.
