Starting
with the general election of 2005 we had the capability to create
an Excel workbook of an election. This book may have an index page
and each individual sheet will need to be unprotected in order to
manipulate the content. You may only download it as a .zip
file and it must be expanded using any common compression application.
The abstracts
from 2004 and earlier are scanned from hard copies into PDF.
Some scans may not be entirely straight on individual pages because
of the way the Automatic Document Feeder transported pages but all
are easily read. We do not have the capability
of providing 2004 and previous year abstracts in any Excel or other electronic
format.
Over the years precincts
are created or consolidated to meet the needs of the jurisdictions
and/or the voters. We did a major consolidation in 2002 reducing
the number of precincts from 152 to a total of 119. Because
of this you should be careful not to compare totals from one precinct
to the same precinct before and after that consolidation. By and
large they encompass the same general area of the City or County
but may be considerably larger. In 2005 we changed the names of
all precincts from the original township names to all numeric designations to match the election management system files.
