Welcome to the Whatcom County 2013/2014 Budget page. Here we have gathered a variety of budget related materials, including my entire budget proposal for 2013/2014.
The successful completion of this budget is due to the dozens of employees and management across all departments who spent weeks and months going over every line item and carefully proposing a budget that maximizes County government performance. The proposed budget prioritizes mandated, core county services and applies our limited revenues to those vital public services. The budget was built using the guidelines developed by the budget team and unanimously adopted by the Council in May. We are presenting a budget that we believe will increase the efficiency and effectiveness of Whatcom County Government.
The proposed budget has been submitted to the Whatcom County Council for their deliberation and I hope you will find the materials on this page useful. |
