Planning Commission Vacancy: The Council is accepting applications to a vacant position on the Whatcom County Planning Commission. Applicants must be a qualified registered voter in Council District 3. Appointment will be to a partial term ending January 31, 2018. Applications are available in the County Council Office, on the Council website, or we can mail an application to you. Please note that the application deadline is 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 21, 2014. Nomination and appointment are scheduled for Tuesday, October 28 at the regular evening Council meeting. For more information on the Planning Commission and this vacancy, please call, email, or visit the Council Office.
