 The Fire Marshal’s Office team works as part of the Building Services Division and in partnership with the Sheriff’s Office and the County Fire Districts to provide a wide spectrum of fire prevention and building safety services.
The County Fire Marshal’s Office provides plan review for land use and commercial construction, conducts annual fire and life safety inspections, and conducts fire and arson investigations. The Fire Marshal's Office also issues permits for sprinkler and alarm systems, above ground and underground fuel tank removal/installation/repair, firework displays, fireworks stands, open burning and special events.
