The Planning Group includes the Current Planning Division and Long Range Planning Division.
Long Range Planning addresses Comprehensive Plan modifications, Rezones, and development regulation amendments, as well as other issues taken to the Planning Commission and County Council.
Current Planning processes project development proposals, permits and subdivisions. Many of their projects go before the Hearings Examiner.
