Volunteering with WCSO
Law enforcement agencies nationwide have realized that volunteer
services can be an invaluable resource for the completion
of daily law enforcement activities.
The Whatcom County Sheriff's Office offers a variety of
programs that allow volunteers to participate in the daily
activities of the Sheriff's office. Participants in these
programs develop a greater awareness about the law enforcement
profession in general as well as the specific functions of
the sheriff's office. The programs provide an opportunity
for the citizens of Whatcom County to serve their community
and make a change in peoples lives.
