We would like to thank the following organizations for supporting Whatcom County Parks and Recreation:
- Black Mountain Forestry Center operates an outdoor logging history museum at Silver Lake Parks and staffs the Gerdrum House museum during the summer
- Drayton Harbor Maritime Society supports and staffs the Semiahmoo Museum with docents in the summer
- Friends of Tennant Lake supporting programs and activities at Tennant Lake and Hovander Park
- Friends of Sunset Farm supporting, maintaining and fundraising for Sunset Farm Park
- Master Gardeners provide landscaping, education and demonstration gardens at Hovander Park and the Roeder Home
- The Nesset Foundation working to preserve the Nesset Farm and make South Fork Park available to the public
- Whatcom Land Trust protects lands from development and fosters stewardship of protected lands
- Whatcom Parks & Recreation Foundation for supporting and fundraising a multitude of projects throughout the parks system
