  • Find out how to access Developmental Disabilities programs in Whatcom County:
    • For Children under 3: Call the SEAS referral line at (360) 715-7485 to get connected to Child Development Services through Early Services for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT).  
    • Services for students age 3-21 with an Individualized Education Program (IEP) are offered through school districts. Contact your local school district to learn more.
    • For students enrolled in school: The School to Work Program helps DDA-enrolled students in their second to last year find employment before transitioning out of school. Contact …
    • For adults 21+ who want support with paid employment: Learn more about the Pathways to Employment by contacting your DDA Case Manager at (360) 714-5000.
    • For adults age 62+: The Community Inclusion program connects people to activities, events and engagement with the local community. For a referral to this program, contact your DDA Case Manager at (360) 714-5000
