This interactive dashboard is provided by the Washington State Department of Health. To look at Whatcom County data, please select Whatcom County in the left-hand column (when using a desktop computer) or from the dropdown county menu (when using a mobile device).
Monday, June 14, 2021: DOH has added new data and made the following changes to the COVID-19 dashboard:
Today’s death data include about 31 fewer deaths than reported Friday (June 11, 2021). Local health jurisdictions reconciled these deaths as not related to COVID-19. These deaths are evenly distributed between April 2020 and April 2021.
Negative test results data from November 21-30, 2020, are incomplete. Thus, negative test results and percent positivity (Testing tab) for that period should be interpreted with caution. Otherwise, the incomplete time frames presented in the dashboard are correct and up to date. The Epidemiologic Curves tab is the most accurate representation of COVID-19 activity and is updated daily as new cases are identified.
This dashboard has information about case rates, case counts, and vaccination rates in sub-county areas, as well as overall county data on race and ethnicity cases and vaccination rates.
Additional data for the North Region of Washington on COVID-19 illness and death by race, ethnicity, and language is available in the COVID-19 Morbidity and Mortality by Race, Ethnicity and Spoken Language in Washington State (PDF). This report is published every two weeks.
DOH has now included race and ethnicity data at the county level in their dashboard. It can be found under the Vaccination tab, under the "Who is getting vaccinated" sub-tab. They expect to update this information every two weeks.
WCHD is now able to include vaccination by age groups as part of our local dashboard. This information is now on the "Percentage of Vaccine Initiation by Age" slide.
