January 20, 2021 Data Note: The total case counts may include duplicates. Duplicates are removed as quickly as possible through daily data maintenance and cleaning.
Negative test results data from November 21-30, and January 2 through today, are incomplete. Because of this, testing numbers should be interpreted with caution, including the positivity rate on the Risk Assessment Dashboard. The Epidemiologic Curves tab is the most accurate representation of COVID-19 activity.
Due to processing issues, deaths are not updated today, January 20, 2021. We expect to be able to make a full report of deaths tomorrow (January 21, 2021).
Healthy Washington metrics are updated each Friday. For those regions whose metrics allow for progression to the next phase, those changes will take effect the following Monday.
Healthy Washington regional metrics will be integrated into the data dashboards. Until that integration is complete, you can find Healthy Washington metrics in the Roadmap to Recovery Report from the Washington State Department of Health.
The dashboards are updated daily between approximately 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. During this time, they will be unavailable for about one hour while updates are integrated.
For the best experience, use a desktop device to view the COVID-19 and Risk Assessment data dashboards. They are not currently optimized for viewing on a mobile device.

Data Note regarding COVID-19 cases in Whatcom County by race and ethnicity: Our department works to update this table each week. In recent weeks the completeness of race/ethnicity fields has decreased. We are working to increase completeness so that sub-population data is as accurate as possible. We will provide an updated table as soon as possible.
Demographics by race/ethnicity are provided on the Washington State Department of Health data dashboard at the state level.
