The Bay to Baker Trail is a proposed countywide trail system. When complete, the trail will cover 74 miles between Bellingham and the Mount Baker Ski Area providing hike, bike, and some horse trail opportunities on former railroad, logging road, and other established corridors.
Currently, the following sections are developed:

In 2015 the Maple Falls to Glacier Trail was wiped out by flooding before Warnick Bridge. There is no timeline for the repair of this trail.
Maple Creek Park is the trailhead for the Maple Falls to Glacier section of the Bay to Baker Trail.
