Programs / Classes / Workshops

We promote public safety and accountability by strengthening the bonds between youth and the community. We provide opportunities for youth to interact with the community in positive ways, and teach youth skills to help them with daily interactions. We believe that crime is an act against the victim and the community, and the offender is directly accountable to the victim, the community and themselves.

Through our programs, we are committed to enabling offenders to make amends to their victim and the community, and develop skills to help build self-confidence.

Aggression Replacement Training (ART)

This 10-week program provides youth with tools to deal with and calm their anger, rather than act on it. The program is co-facilitated with contracted community agencies and trained probation staff.

Community Links

Community Links is a program designed to introduce youth and their families to the different services available to them.  Throughout the course of the program, community organizations introduce their services and engage families in interactive activities.  The goal of the program is to provide opportunities to learn practical skills to successfully get out and stay out of the juvenile justice system.

Functional Family Therapy (FFT)

FFT provides services to eligible moderate-to-high-risk offenders and their families. This is a short-term, home-based intervention that focuses on interactions among family members. This intervention occurs in a 5-step process that takes an average of 12 weeks to complete.

FFT promotes changes in behavior; change that takes place within the context of the family, consistent with relationships between family members. Interventions are tailored to each specific family. Benefits of the program include reducing the rate of criminal behaviors, re-institutionalization and substance abuse.
