Michelle Bos is a Deputy Public Defender handling felony cases in Superior Court. She graduated from the University of Washington in 2007. She moved to San Diego and graduated from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2012, where she was awarded pro bono honors and the Charles T. Bumer Civil Libertarian award in 2010.
After graduation, she worked as a private criminal defense attorney, and later as a Public Defender with the San Diego Public Defender until late 2020. She joined the Whatcom County Public Defender in 2021. She has experience handling both misdemeanor and felony cases in all courts within Whatcom County. She is licensed to practice law in Washington, California, and Florida.
