Drayton Harbor Shellfish Protection District Advisory Committee

Purpose

The Drayton Harbor Shellfish Protection District Advisory Committee's duties are to advise the County Council on the proposed actions and operations relating to the restoration of water quality in the Drayton Harbor watershed.

Meetings


  • Meetings are generally held quarterly, 3:00 to 5:30 p.m., on the last Wednesday of January, April, July, and October.

Specifications

Applicants must be property owners who reside within the Shellfish Protection District and have a direct interest the district.



 Vacancies

Term Information

    • 4 year terms, upon removal of the Drayton Harbor downgrade, or the district is dissolved by legislative ordinance. 
    • 2 term limit, 1 year separation required after 2 terms before eligible to reapply
