You may pay your property taxes by e-check, or by using an American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or VISA credit/debit card, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The service is fully automated and will prompt you through the payment process.

Each transaction will be charged a convenience fee.

Whatcom County does not receive any of the fees charged.

Before You Call

Have your property id (PID) number, payment amount and credit/debit card information ready. Your property ID number and payment amount can be found on the payment coupons of your tax statement or, check your taxes online. If your payment is late, or delinquent, please contact the Treasurer's Office to get correct payment amounts. Incorrect payments will be returned.

• The system will give you a confirmation number. Please write this number down for your records. If you do not get a confirmation number, your payment was not completed and you will need to start the process over again

If you need additional assistance, you may utilize the Personal Teller option. Make eCheck, Credit, and Debit card payments with a live agent. Have your card or bank info, and your account number ready.
