The Archiving section is the guardian of the legal records for all matters concerning public roads, highways, bridges, ditches, or surveys.
Original papers, documents, petitions, survey notes, and maps are retained.
Records and documents date back to the mid-1800's.
Safeguarding Records
Records are safeguarded through the use of microfilm.
Records are easier to locate, handle, and preserve for generations to come.
A statutory responsibility providing present and future owners of property with historical and legal information.
Public Access
The public at large can access these records and documents.
Staff is prepared to assist with questions and requests.
