Improvements

Hovander Homestead Park's new playground opened on August 24, 2012. Located adjacent to the animal contact area to the east of the barnyard, the new play equipment is already a big hit with kids and parents alike.  In keeping with its location the new playground is farm style.  There are 2 distinct play areas, 1 for toddlers and another for children ages 5 - 12.
