Recent legislation amending WAC 332-150-030 increases the recording
fee an additional $18.00 for plats, surveys, binding site plans, subdivision
plats, short plats, and condominiums. The increased fee funds the public
land survey office of the Department of Natural Resources and helps to
support their legislative mandates under chapter RCW 58.24.

Beginning August 1, the recording fee for maps will be $156.00 for the
first page. Each additional page will be $5.00 for surveys and all other
maps will be an additional $1.00 per page.

The date for the fee increase changed from July 1 to the revised effective
date of August 1.
