[ARCHIVED] Whatcom County COVID-19 Update for April 18, 2020

On April 18, 2020, the Whatcom County Health Department is reporting five (5) new confirmed case of COVID-19 and zero (0) new deaths. The total number of confirmed cases is 276, and the number of associated deaths remains at 25.

Please note that the data that we provide on a daily basis is only a snapshot. When these snapshots are combined over time, it tells a better story of COVID-19 in our community. You may see low numbers reported in our daily case updates one day, and higher numbers the next. While low numbers are good any time we see them, we must continue to monitor the larger story and weekly case numbers to fully understand how well our current strategies are working to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Visit our COVID-19 website for complete case numbers and more information.
