Additional Lummi Island Roads Scheduled for Chip Seal Work Starting July 13

Whatcom County has scheduled additional roads for chip sealing on Lummi Island. Work on the following roads will begin on Monday, July 13, and continue through Thursday, July 16, from 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

  • Antoinette Lane
  • Blizard Road
  • Centerview Road
  • Constitution Road
  • Granger Way
  • Joans Lane
  • Legoe Bay Road
  • S Nugent
  • Seacrest Drive
  • Sunrise Cove
  • Sunrise Road
  • Tuttle Lane

Drivers should plan to use alternate routes during project work and expect delays.

Please relocate any vehicles parked along the above listed roads that are in the right-of-way before 6:00 am on all days when chip sealing is scheduled. Any vehicles left alongside the road may be damaged by flying rocks or sealant during project work.

This work is weather dependent and is subject to change.
