Pavement Striping operations are scheduled from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm Tuesday, July 21, on Smith Road, from Hannegan to Northwest Drive. Drivers should expect long delays during this work. Please use alternate routes whenever possible.

Striping is also scheduled the week of July 20 for Silver Lake and South Pass roads. This work will take multiple days.

Safety is our highest priority. Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office deputies will assist with traffic control, and drivers should remember that traffic fines double in work zones.

This work is weather dependent and is subject to change.
