Public Works Gravel on Lummi Island

We’ve had a number of people on Lummi Island ask about potential surplus gravel from our island maintenance projects, and if that material would be available for purchase. First, we do still have some work left to do on the island that will use some of the remaining gravel. We don’t have an exact date yet for when all our projects will be completed on the island. Second, we are determining how we can legally dispose of any surplus gravel once all our island projects are completed for this construction season. Assuming that there is surplus gravel, we will send out a notification to let people know if it is available for purchase and how to go about this.
