Pavement Striping Operations Rescheduled for Aug. 25-26 on Lummi Island Roads

Pavement striping operations are scheduled from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 25-26, on paved Lummi Island roads. This is the final step in the chip seal road work project. This work was originally scheduled Aug. 17-18 but was rescheduled to avoid conflicts with other island services.

  • Please use alternate routes when possible during road striping; long delays should be expected.
  • This work is weather dependent and is subject to change.
  • Please contact the Maintenance and Operations Division at 360-778-6400 if you have any questions regarding this work.

Once the newly chip sealed roads are re-striped, the chip seal project on the island will be complete.
