[ARCHIVED] COVID-19 mobile testing at Civic Field in Bellingham closed today due to poor air quality

Due to increasingly poor air quality, Whatcom Unified Command and the Whatcom County Health Department have decided to close the drive-thru testing operations this afternoon. Dr. Greg Stern, Whatcom County Health Officer, recommended that testing be postponed in order to protect those scheduled for testing, as well as staff, from unhealthy air quality.

The testing scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. today at Civic Field at 1355 Civic Field Way in Bellingham is cancelled. .

Those with appointments will be notified of cancellations and have an opportunity to register for an appointment at a later date. Whatcom Unified Command hopes to reopen on Monday for testing at Civic Field in Bellingham from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., but will continue to monitor air quality and may need to close that testing site as well.

Please monitor this website - whatcomcounty.us/3388/COVID-19-Testing -
