Ballots for the November 3rd General Election will be mailed to all registered voters on October 14th. Voters who have not received a ballot by October 21st should contact the Auditor’s office to get a replacement.
Registration Deadlines: To be eligible to vote in the November 3rd General Election, the Auditor’s Office needs voter registration requests or address changes in the office by October 26th. These tasks can be completed online at VoteWA.gov or by mail. Citizens that miss the October 26th deadline can still register to vote or change their address but will need to appear in person at the Whatcom County Auditor’s Office, 311 Grand Ave., Suite 103, Bellingham, by 8:00 pm on November 3rd.
Whatcom County residents are encouraged to complete registrations and address updates early and online at VoteWA.gov or by mail before October 26th to avoid a trip to the office. Anyone completing or updating their registration in person will be required to wear a mask, maintain the 6-foot social distancing standard and expect long lines election week.
Voters Requiring Assistance & Other Information: An accessible voting unit (AVU) is equipped with visual and audio technology. Voters requiring reasonable accommodation or assistance may vote on the AVU in the Whatcom County Auditor’s Office starting October 14th. For more information, contact the Election’s Division at (360) 778-5102 or [email protected].
