[ARCHIVED] Whatcom County COVID-19 Vaccine Update for 2/9/21

Vaccines by the Numbers

Providers in Whatcom County are due to receive 3,275 first doses of COVID-19 vaccine for the week of Feb. 8. To date, providers in Whatcom County have received a total of 17,825 initial doses. As of Feb. 6, 19,258 Whatcom County residents have received their first dose.

Most of this data can also be found on DOH’s Data Dashboard and the tables below it. The doses allocated each week to Whatcom County are not included in the data dashboard.


WCHD Vaccine Town Hall

Last Thursday, February 4th, we hosted a COVID-19 Vaccination Update Town Hall. You can watch the recording of the event here. Several leading community healthcare providers were in attendance, including Family Care Network, PeaceHealth, Sea Mar Community Health Centers, and Unity Care Northwest. The speakers covered topics like:

  • Vaccine supply.
  • Progress in vaccinating people.
  • How their vaccine clinics work.
  • Planning efforts for large-scale community vaccination.
