[ARCHIVED] Special Election Ballots Being Mailed Today

Ballots for the February 9 Special Election are being mailed today. Voters will also receive an abbreviated version of the local voters’ pamphlet in the envelope with their ballot. All Whatcom County School Districts and Fire Protection District 8 will have issues on the ballot, County Auditor Debbie Adelstein said.

If you don’t receive your ballot by Friday, January 29, don’t delay in contacting the Election Division of the County Auditor’s Office, at (360) 778-5102, Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Voters are encouraged to return their ballots early. Ballots must be postmarked by Election Day or deposited in an official ballot drop box by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. A complete listing of ballot drop box locations is available on our website or check the voters’ pamphlet enclosed with your ballot.
