The Hertz Trail at Lake Whatcom Park is now open. The Hertz Trail was closed last week around the 1.25-mile marker due to an active slide. Slide activity has stopped and Whatcom County Parks crews have completed clearing the slide materials from the trail. The trail is now fully open and unrestricted.
