Road reconstruction work to repair the landslide-damaged section of Deer Trail is scheduled to begin the week of August 15 and wrap up in early October 2022 During this phase, drivers can expect long delays with alternating single-lane closures during working hours and the use of automated traffic signals during evenings and non-working days. The work includes shifting a 300-foot section of the roadway centerline 4 feet westerly, then the temporary removal of a portion of the northbound travel lane and construction of a large rock buttress structural section, followed by new asphalt pavement and guard railing adjacent to the creek ravine.
