Pavement striping operations are scheduled from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Wednesday, July 28, on Slater Road from the Ferndale city limits to Lake Terrell Road. Use alternate routes if possible, and expect long delays during roadwork. Safety is our highest priority. Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office deputies will assist with traffic control, and drivers should remember that traffic fines double in work zones.
