The Washington State Department of Health’s Care-a-Van will be at the event providing COVID-19 vaccines! You can get your first or second dose of either Pfizer or Moderna, or your one-and only shot of the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine. All COVID-19 vaccines are completely free,, and if you get vaccinated or show us your vaccination card, youth ages 12-18 can enter a raffle for a brand new Kona bike! If adults get vaccinated at the event they will be offered a gift card to a local store!
Why Get Vaccinated?
The COVID-19 vaccines are safe, effective, and will help protect you, your family, and your neighbors from the virus. COVID-19 has caused very serious illness and put a lot of people in the hospital, and many have died. You may know someone who survived COVID-19. You may know someone who didn’t. If you get COVID-19, you also risk giving it to loved ones who may get very sick. Getting a COVID-19 vaccine is a safer and less painful choice.
We know you still may have questions about the vaccine. We will have staff on site to help answer any questions you may have. We look forward to seeing you at SummerFest on August 3, 2021.
