Why Get Vaccinated?

The COVID-19 vaccines are safe, effective, and will help protect you, your family, and your neighbors from the virus. COVID-19 has caused very serious illness and put a lot of people in the hospital, and many have died. You may know someone who survived COVID-19. You may know someone who didn’t. If you get COVID-19, you also risk giving it to loved ones who may get very sick. Getting a COVID-19 vaccine is a safer and less painful choice.

We know you still may have questions about the vaccine. We will have staff on site to help answer any questions you may have. We look forward to seeing you at SummerFest on August 3, 2021.

If you need more reasons to get vaccinated, visit VaccinateWhatcom.org for some local perspectives.
