The next Whatcom County Ferry Division monthly punch card sale is from 5:20 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. on Wednesday, August 11, at the ferry office, located at the island-side ferry terminal. All types of ferry punch cards will be sold, including those for current needs-based customers. Payments may be made by check, US money order, or credit card. No cash accepted.
This event will follow all COVID-19 safety protocols and guidance provided by the Washington State Department of Health. Fully vaccinated individuals are not required to wear a mask. Unvaccinated individuals are expected to wear masks. Proof of vaccination will not be required.
The Public Works administration office has reopened to the public by appointment only as part of the state-wide lifting of pandemic restrictions. Islanders should not make unscheduled visits to the Civic Center for ferry tickets. Please continue to buy tickets at monthly punch card sales, online, or via email. If you must interact with an employee in person, please call 360-778-6200 to schedule an appointment. Reopening will be done gradually, and this is the first step. Thank you in advance for your patience during reopening.
