Precincts 169, 170 through 178, 180, and 181, all within South Whatcom Fire Authority, will be mailed a ballot to their mailing address on record. The Fire Authority is asking voters to approve a general obligations bond to acquire and equip three new fire engines.

An abbreviated version of the local voters’ pamphlet will be enclosed with the ballot, County Auditor Debbie Adelstein said. She advises anyone that doesn’t receive their ballot by Friday, April 15th to contact the Election Division of the Auditor’s Office at (360) 778-5102 between the hours of 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.
