Work on Marine Drive was originally scheduled to start in September, but the start date has been pushed back because of material shortages. Starting in October, the contractor will begin work on an underground stormwater vault at the intersection of Marine Drive and McAlpine Road. The majority of the roadway reconstruction work is now expected to start next spring, likely in March or April. The start of this project is weather-dependent and could change.
