Election Day is Tuesday, April 26th for registered voters living within South Whatcom Fire Authority boundaries. County Auditor Debbie Adelstein reminds voters that ballots must have a postmark no later than April 26 to be counted. Mailing your ballot a day earlier is recommended to ensure a valid postmark.
To eliminate postage or postmark concerns, Auditor Adelstein encourages voters to deposit their ballot in an official ballot drop box. Drop boxes are locked at 8:00 pm on Election Day. Locations available for this election are:
• Sudden Valley, Gate One at the Security Office turnaround
• WWU Bookstore, 501 High St.
• Haggen Sehome Village, 210 36th St. (in the northeast corner of the parking lot)
• Auditor’s Office, Whatcom County Courthouse, 311 Grand Ave., Suite 103
• South parking lot of the Courthouse, 201 Grand Ave.
Contact the Election Division at the Auditor’s Office immediately at (360) 778-5102, if you haven’t received your ballot.
