County Auditor Debbie Adelstein said if you aren’t registered to vote or you aren’t registered to vote at your current address, you have one week left to do so to be eligible to vote in the August 2 Primary Election. Voters who are not registered to vote in Washington State may register in person through July 25th.
A Primary Election is held when more than two candidates file for an office. Registered voters choose the candidate they prefer and the two candidates with the most votes in the Primary move on to the General Election ballot.
