Variant-specific COVID-19 Vaccine Booster Availability in Whatcom County

Anyone 12 and older can now get the new Moderna and Pfizer booster shot that helps to protect against the COVID-19 Omicron variants. These new booster shots are coming to local pharmacies soon and will be offered at our pop-up clinic this Friday, Sept. 9, at the Lynden School District Offices, 516 Main St., Lynden.

Moving forward, we will offer the updated boosters for people 12 and older at our East Whatcom Regional Resource Center and Lynden School District Offices pop-up COVID-19 vaccine clinics. Visit our Vaccine Information page to see a full list of our upcoming pop-up clinics.

Talk with your doctor to discuss your eligibility. You can receive either booster if you are 18 years or older. Children 12 and older can only get the Pfizer booster.
