[ARCHIVED] Modified Ferry Traffic Configuration Starts Oct. 10 For Dock Repairs

Starting on Monday, October 10th, crews will begin replacing the wooden planks on the Gooseberry Point dock. This work will temporarily affect where vehicles queue for the ferry, but it should not affect the ferry’s service schedule.

During this project, cars will not be able to wait on the Gooseberry Point dock for the next run. Vehicles will instead be kept off the dock and remain in the holding lanes until loading.

Expect these traffic modifications from October 10th-21st. This important work will replace dock planks that are in poor condition. Whatcom County Public Works would like to thank everyone in advance for their cooperation and patience.
