[ARCHIVED] Transformer Replacement at Lummi Island Dock Now October 20

Puget Sound Energy will be replacing the transformer at the top of the Lummi Island dock after the Whatcom Chief’s last run on Thursday, October 20th. This is an update to work that was previously scheduled for September 29th.

The transformer replacement will not affect ferry runs as it will occur overnight when the ferry is not in service. The work is expected to be completed prior to the first scheduled run on Friday, October 21st.  For more information, contact the Whatcom County Public Works Ferry Department at [email protected] or 360-778-6200.
