Posted on: July 25, 2016

[ARCHIVED] Primary Election Day is Tuesday, August 2nd

Primary Election Day is Tuesday, August 2nd. Have you voted and returned your ballot yet? County Auditor Debbie Adelstein said if you mail your ballot, one 47-cent stamp is required. The ballot must be postmarked no later than August 2nd to be counted.

Voters are encouraged to place their ballot in one of 15 official ballot drop boxes located throughout the county. Drop boxes are open 24-hours a day but close at 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. Box locations are listed on the insert enclosed with your ballot, in the Local Voters’ Pamphlet, or on the Auditor’s website at www.whatcomcounty.us/auditor.

Contact the Election Division at the Auditor’s Office immediately at (360) 778-5102, if you haven’t received your ballot. Relay calls gladly accepted.
