Ferry Passengers Should Use Caution on Ramps During Dry Dock Low Tides

Overhead picture of ferry terminal ramp

Lower than normal spring tides will cause steep inclines on the ferry ramps over several days of dry dock. As a result, some passengers may need help boarding the passenger ferry. Please do ask for assistance if you need it—crew members are ready to help. To flag down a crew member, please walk to the end of the terminal’s main ramp and stop before the apron section (see image). Our crew will come to you and help you board the vessel.

To see when the tides may affect passenger ferry access, click here to view the tide-related weight restrictions section of our website. These times represent when the ramps will be the steepest.

We ask that anyone traveling during the low tides exercise extreme caution when using the ramps. Your safety is always our highest priority.
