Whatcom County Public Works (WCPW) crews will install stop signs and related road markings at Birch Bay Drive and Birch Point Road on Wednesday, May 31.
Ordinance 2023-004 requires WCPW to install the stop signs at the intersection of Birch Point Road and Birch Bay Drive for southbound traffic on Birch Point Road and westbound traffic on Birch Bay Drive.
In response to community feedback, WCPW published an info sheet detailing the ordinance’s purpose and the alternative options that were investigated.
