Drivers on several Whatcom County roads should expect delays starting Monday, June 5, as crews begin pre-level road work. Pre-level is a pavement repair process used to fill ruts and low spots in preparation for other road maintenance, such as chip sealing.
During the week of June 5-9, 2023, the following Whatcom County roads will be pre-leveled:
Noon Rd.
South of E. Pole Rd (SR 544) to E. 67th Vista
North of E. Pole Rd (SR 544) to Van Dyk Rd
Ten Mile Rd.
Noon Rd to the west to Address 1601 Ten Mile
Belfern Dr.
Bellaire Way
Fowles Ln.
Kale Ln.
Cypress Dr.
(All in the subdivision just north of Smith Road)
Aldrich Rd.
Bellingham City limits to Lange Road.
Expect daily single-lane closures between 7:00 am-5:00 pm. Flaggers will assist traffic, but alternate routes are recommended to avoid delays.
Pre-level work is weather dependent and subject to change. For more information, contact Carl Hendricks at [email protected] or 360-778-6260.
