Crews are wrapping up sidewalk replacement at the Harborview Road intersection and focusing efforts in front of Worldmark and at Lora Lane to complete more sidewalk and driveway improvements.  This concrete work includes the first steps to installing two new pedestrian crosswalks: one in front of Worldmark and the other at Lora Lane.  These crosswalks are critical safety improvements for pedestrians crossing to and from the berm and will greatly improve trail connectivity at these locations.  The final steps to complete the crosswalks this fall are still being scheduled.

Sidewalk closures at Worldmark and Lora Lane will be in place over the weekend before crews can finish next week.  Parking closures at Worldmark will also remain in place until work is completed next week.  There will be no closures at Harborview Road over the weekend.  However, there may be daytime closures when the crews can return to install permanent pavement patching along the new sidewalk, pending weather conditions.
