Whatcom County Public Works will close Gillies Road at Bridge #309 (between Lindsay Road & Alm Road) from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, October 2-6. Crews will perform the temporary repair of a pile cap so the county can maintain the bridge’s current weight restrictions. The area will be open to emergency vehicles during the closure. 

Drivers should plan to use alternate routes between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily. A detour will be posted around the closure area using Alm Road, North Telegraph, and Lindsay Road.
