General Election ballots are being mailed today, County Auditor Debbie Adelstein announced. If a registered voter doesn’t receive their ballot by October 28th, they should call the Election Division of the Auditor’s Office immediately at (360) 778-5102.
Due to the increased size and weight of the General Election ballot, postage required to mail the ballot is $.68. Auditor Adelstein encourages voters to deposit their ballot in one of the 15 official ballot drop boxes that are located throughout the county. No postage is required to deposit your ballot in a drop box and they are conveniently open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week until 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. Drop box locations are listed on the insert enclosed with the ballot, in the Local Voters’ Pamphlet, or on the Auditor’s website.
On Election Day only, there will be a drop box located at the Community Center in Point Roberts. Voters can deposit their ballot at the center from 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. on November 8th.
