Your property tax payment will be accepted as timely if it has a postmark of no later than October 31, 2016. Any postmark after this date will be considered as late, and the payment must include the correct interest and penalty, otherwise it will be returned to you.

Our usual drop boxes are located at the rotunda entrance to the courthouse on the street near the flag pole, and also in the wall next to the south entrance doors to the courthouse. We have an additional drop box in the Treasurer's office lobby for payments too. Please DO NOT put cash in these drop boxes, and be sure to include your property id on the check along with payment coupons in an envelope. The contents of these drop boxes will be collected frequently, and at midnight on October 31. Payments left in these drop boxes after midnight October 31 will be considered as late.
