[ARCHIVED] RESCHEDULED Emergency Service Outage - Lummi Island Ferry

Due to the potential weather event this evening, March 2, 2017 the necessary repairs to the Gooseberry Point Dock as a result of our monthly inspection on March 1, 2017 have been rescheduled to Saturday evening, March 4, 2017 after all of the regular schedule ferry runs have been completed.  Ferry operations must be suspended during the project work.

All work is anticipated to take place during the night hours of Saturday, March 4, 2017 and service is anticipated to resume on a normal schedule on Sunday, March 5, 2017.  However, due to the complex nature of these repairs there may be a delay of service on Sunday morning if the repairs aren’t completed on time.  If that happens, we will send out a tweet.

This repair activity is weather dependent, so the times and/or date may be changed if necessary.  In the event a schedule change is necessary, notice will be provided as soon as possible.
